Better Incentives for Shows Like One Tree Hill
For example, the WB television series, One Tree Hill, which spends about $1.5 million an episode, would get $225,000 back for each show. That's a lot of money, but not compared to losing the series altogether, said McComas, who filed the House bill. Boseman filed the Senate version. "You save 15 percent (without incentives)," he said. "But if there's nothing, it's not going to cost us anything because 15 percent of nothing is nothing."
