Extreme Theft
I’m sure most of us are aware of the ABC show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. In February of this year, the show traveled to Boynton Beach Florida to fix-up a Little League field that was destroyed by Hurricane Wilma. Here is the background story from PalmBeachPost.com

My Ideal Television Station
So I’ve been thinking: Why does TV suck so much lately? Well, the obvious answer is that nobody knows how to write a good sitcom these days. Or make funny, clever children’s programming. I find myself watching Home and Garden TV more than ever, especially “extreme makeover:home edition”. The only grass I have seen lately is a fistful of grass I found in my bra following a late night romp with a fellow in Pearson Park a few weeks ago (read: in my dreams.)

Healing Touch
I love to watch Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I love to watch the healing of families and communities through the personalized compassion of the show's personalities. I've also observed that a lot of physical touching happens between the family and the TV personalities. They hug. They hold hands. They cry on sholders. The designers hold children in their arms. No matter what you think of the show's excesses, at its core it demonstrates how people and communities should reach out and literally connect with those who are in need.

Stars Are Revealed in All Their Glory
But personally I prefer the surrealistically goofy photo inside that shows a bosom the size of a zeppelin perched on a golf course, threatening Garth Fisher, MD, who is not only a hotshot Hollywood plastic surgeon but also a guy who played a hotshot Hollywood plastic surgeon on ABC's "Extreme Makeover."

Wanna Be On Reality TV?
And this isn’t just for shows like Survivor or Fear Factor… They represent them all. Trading Spaces, Extreme Makeover, Queer Eye, the Great Race, etc… I think it’s actually a really cool idea. Noah’s friend, Brian Ostrovsky came up with the idea, and he’s touring around with them.

One Of The Most Incredible Shows
It’s very hard to make me cry. Well, sometimes. I think it’s easy when it comes to happy things, and that’s what happened tonight. I was watching the last half hour of Extreme Makeover Home Edition where they remake people’s homes. This one was a two hour special where they redid a three-story house in a handicap accessible fashion for this one family. It was pretty amazing. I can’t really describe what they did, but there was an elevator, special refrigerators, tables, showers, bathtubs, a pool. Unbelievable. I think the kitchen had like four sinks alone with extra wide areas around the island so wheelchairs could fit.

TV Holiday
So, during the past few days, I’ve been doing nothing but watch reality shows in TV. The Apprentice (Donald Trump), The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, The Cut, So You Think You Can Dance, The Contender, Rockstar: INXS, Extreme Makeover Home Edition… am I forgetting something? I’m catching up on all the Rockstar: INXS shows I missed, and then some.

On The Farm Again
Yesterday, I split wood. So, obviously, I feel right at home back on the farm. Here I was trying to be a Sunday morning slug lounging on the couch through an episode of “Trading Spaces” (which just bites since Ty jumped ship to “Extreme Makeover, Home Edition”). But, nope. No can do. Dad came in and said he needed some help with the wood pile, and I got to spend a good hour working out with a wood splitter and eye protection. Ah, the joys of the farm.

Good News
I have finally figured out why there is so much controversy about "American Idol" and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." They are good news shows, and we cannot bear to leave that alone. People will pick and prod and pry until something bad falls out, and then they will point and say, “See? I KNEW that they weren’t legit!” At this point, I can only say, “Kiss off, moron! They are good shows, and they do good things for people, enjoy it.”

Ty Cry
On a non-related note, I saw Ty from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition shed a tear for the first time. There have been moments that he could have cried, but didn’t. Anyways, he shed a tear because he helped a deaf couple who had a son who is blind and also autistic. Their eldest son, who is 14 years old, is the only one without impairments. He naturally had to take up a role to help his parents and his little brother. He wishes to go to college after highschool, but is afraid to leave his family. So Extreme Makeover built a new house with all the accomadations that extremely helps the family from being dependent on the eldest son. In the end, he was given a $50,000 check to go to college. It was a good one. Well, it was divided into two 1 hour episodes in a row - since they needed to make special coverage on the family’s situation..

I'm definitely, LOST!
After the feedback and ongoing banter about ABC’s “LOST", my wife and I have jumped on the phenomenon and immersed ourselves into this amazing drama! Now, I’m not sure why we didn’t start watching this in the beginning, probably due to our already large list of “Must See TV” (sorry NBC, I’m using that in the global sense, not so much just about Thursday nights anymore, haven’t seen an episode of ER in almost a year probably).
Our usual line-up included: House (GREAT show!! catching up on repeats), American Idol, Amazing Race, Survivor, CSI (Vegas is still best, then New York, then Miami), Without a Trace, Joan of Arcadia (CBS, what are you thinking cancelling this show, can’t wait for the seasons on DVD), and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Rewarding
I just watched the most rewarding show I have seen in a long time. It was on ABC and the show is called extreme makeover: Home edition. This particular show is about a family where both are the parents are deaf and the younger child is blind and autistic. It is such a touching and moving show because the older son is basically the man of the house. He has to take care of the family and has never really had time to be by himself. The show basically tears down their...

Calling Ty Pennington
I was watching a re-run of Extreme Makeover, Home Edition yesterday, and I don't know what it is about this show, but when I watch it I turn into my mother. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but who would have guessed that the person who couldn't even shed a tear for My Life and Shindler's List (myself) would be crying uncontrollably at the sight of a deserving family receiving a home? (I mention the morphing of myself into a prototype of my parents because an endearing trait about my mom is that she gets emotional over every movie/latenight T.V. show we watch.)

A Roomier Bathroom
This extreme makeover/airplane bathroom edition promises to provide passengers more room for changing clothes, diapers and “refreshing themselves,” the patent says, without taking up more room in the passenger cabin — a concern for many nearly bankrupt airlines which need to squeeze in every possible “seat,” so to speak.

Starting The Week Out Right
Permanently blinded in the November slaughter at the Radioshack were he was working, Tampa Bay man Jamie Dolan got a little gift from the home repair show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and their sponsors: a custom-made mansion for him and his family, scholarships for his children, a car, retirement money, a guide dog, and everything else they could possibly think of to pile on. They took a look at Jamie's old house, decided it was best to demolish it and build a new one, and the whole thing just snowballed as more and more sponsors signed on and...

More Makeover Fan Mail
I was shocked, simply shocked.Okay, so I haven't had any quality posts in a while and am sitting down right now to surf the web and post my thoughts. Before I begin, I just got done watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. This is the 2nd week in a row I have watched this show. It is one of mrs. sports pundit's favorite, and I must say, both times I've watched it, I've cried like a 16 year old girl who got stood up on prom night. Seriously, if you don't tear up watching this show, you have no heart.

Makeover Good For Everyone
I've seen more than a few episodes of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition". They select a particularly needy family, usually facing some sort of hardship with a disabled child or something equally devastating, and they either remodel or completely rebuild their home to accommodate whatever problems the family faces. It's a feel good show, and while I'm sure the networks make a profit, it is nice to witness such charity.

Extreme Home Makeover
Put together one very run-down house, a deserving family, several opinionated designers, seven days and what do you get? The answer is Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
The first season of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was able to bring extreme happiness to several families. Some of those projects included enlarging the home of a couple expecting triplets, rebuilding a house for eight children who had just lost their parents, giving a facelift to an entire community whose homes were flooded during a hailstorm, and remodeling the living space of a wheelchair-bound young man by making it more accessible — which included the installation of an elevator. In addition the makeover team did a special live episode, during which they remodeled the New York apartment of two firefighters — in just 12 hours!
Who knew Kermit and Miss Piggy had a knack for design? Extreme Makeover: Home Edition – along with the help of a special team of Muppets – gives a home makeover to the family of America’s first-ever set of surviving African American sextuplets.
I spent a few days on the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition “set” a few weeks ago, while they were in Phoenix. No, not as a goober in the stands, but on the set working with some people.

As the designer in charge of interiors and glamour on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," Moloney plays a major role in the complete renovation of the chosen family's run-down home. Each week, the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" cast and team of 100 workers have seven days to complete a project that would normally take four months to achieve.
